VP Duterte cannot be a Lawyer for Atty. Zuleika Lopez, it Violates her Constitutional Mandate

 

Congressman Joel Chua, Chairman of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, discussed the controversy surrounding Vice President Duterte. Chua highlighted that the Constitution prohibits the Vice President from acting as legal counsel for Zuleika Lopez, potentially leading to an impeachment complaint. He also expressed concerns about Congressman Polong Duterte's letter allowing the Vice President to stay indefinitely in his office while Lopez is detained. The committee will address these issues in their meeting on Monday.
