Dear Mom, I owe my life to you
Dear Mom,
From the very moment I took my first breath, I knew I owed my life to you. No matter where I go or what I achieve, whether I find success or face challenges, the foundation of who I am is rooted in the love and lessons you’ve instilled in me. If I’ve grown up kind, respectful, and compassionate, it’s because you were my first teacher, the first who showed me what it means to truly care for others. The kindness I extend to others, the warmth I share, and the grace with which I navigate life—these are all reflections of the love you’ve showered upon me.
Even though I may not have stood on the grand stages of the National Sports Olympic or the World Olympics, nor claimed titles as a world champion in boxing or billiards, I consider myself a success because of you. I grew up strong, happy, and joyful—qualities that have made me a positive force in this world, rather than a burden to society. The success I cherish isn’t measured in medals or accolades but in the values you’ve imparted and the life you’ve nurtured within me.
Though we may not have lived a life of wealth, I am rich in the love and lessons you’ve given me. I am whole, healthy, free from affliction, and with that, I am eternally grateful. Through your care and unwavering dedication, I stand complete, both body and spirit. For that alone, Mom, my debt to you is immeasurable.
Despite the simplicity of our lives, I am wise in the ways of the world because of you. The knowledge I’ve gained and the lessons I’ve learned are all thanks to your guidance and wisdom.
Though I may never be able to repay the love you’ve given me, it’s a testament to your strength and goodness that you never abandoned me, and never turned your back on me. You may not be perfect, but to me, you are a blessing from God, a sign that I am loved by Him, for He gave me a mother like you—caring, loving, and responsible.
Even if I were to amass billions, I wouldn’t hesitate to give you everything that would make you happy and still forever grateful. And if I don’t have that wealth, I will still do everything in my power to bring you the small joys that I can. Mom, I can never repay the love you’ve poured into me, but I offer you my deepest thanks, and I pray that God continues to bless you with good health.
Thank you, Mom, for everything.
